Up For A Run?

Normally I don't bother with a New Years resolution but this year I came up with a New Years Goal. I've decided it's time for me to do something for myself. For a few years (5ish) I've put myself last on the priority list. I haven't had time to do anything for myself in a while- even a shower is too much to ask for a few times a week.

So, this is my year. I'm going to take some time to myself and start taking care of myself. With that said, my New Years Goal is to RUN. RUN, RUN, RUN!

I've been working out regularly for just over one year now, since Cal and Teagan turned 9 months old. I lost all of my pregnancy weight and I'm feeling healthy and back to "normal" again (with the exception of the twin skin). I've worked my way up to running 3 miles at a time, 3 days per week.

I found a realistic HALF MARATHON training schedule that I hope to follow over the next 19 WEEKS. So, my goal is to run a HALF marathon in the Spring/Summer. I may even start with a 10k in May....I'll keep you updated.

I've been recruiting friends and family to join in the fun. Today was the end of my first week and I did it! My total miles for the week: 14. It feels great.
